Is this good, or am I gonna run into troubles?ġ) Not 100% sure, but I think that "exausted" is the default description and it doesn't affect AT ALL in the game (kind of a bug in the description).Ģ) It will always select the new born wif you select "butcher extra livestock" (because the "extra" is the one that doesn't fit in the pasture). Can someone confirm this?Īlso, in my current fortress, I have three pastures, one for yaks (2 males 6 females), one for alpacas (1 male, 4 females) and one for emus (1 male 4 females). So, I'm guessing the game picks the last one that was born. or is it just like this? I didn't notice anything different, they are still reproducing and creating milk, but is slightly annoying.Ģ) When I butcher one of them, the automatic one specifically, is it selected a random one according to the gender, or does the game takes into account its current health? I say this because, normally, my yaks are right in the entrance to the fortress, providing some useful shield meat during the fights (one of them actually got a goblin kill during a raid), however two of them are blind and one can't even walk anymore, but, he is never selected as the butcher job. There are two things that are slightly annoying me.ġ) My yaks on the pasture are all "exausted", should I be building beds for them? Like straw beds. And while I've been mostly able to find answers scattered around the internet or here. I'm new to the game, only started playing 3 or 4 days ago.
